Roy has been interested in games his entire life, from computer games to games such as chess, so when poker was introduced via a home poker game, it was no surprise when it caught his interest. Since the first time he played, he began to concentrate his efforts on poker, studying immensely and immersing himself into the world of poker. He read and studied everything he could get his hands on to, until the day he decided to play online. Roy began his foray into the online poker world with a $50 deposit on Party Poker, and found himself with $1,000 in his account only a couple of weeks later. From there he attempted every form of poker, ranging from Limit Omaha 8/b and Heads-Up SNG’s to Razz and NLHE. It was NLHE that eventually won him over, and since finding his forte in the NLHE cash games he has spent the last two years honing his skills. He has been very successful in the mid-limit games on various sites and consistently turning a profit month by month. Roy now splits his time between playing poker at stakes from 2/4 to 10/20 and coaching others.
