Tyrannic

In January of this year, I was lost. I found myself with a 5 figure bankroll, yet still thinking on the first level. I told myself, as the cold glow of the FTP lobby stared me down, I do not want to keep grinding small stakes no limit texas hold'em. Feeling outmatched at 1/2, a level I used to own like no other, started to burn a hole in me. Fiscally and emotionally. It was silly.

Besides, internet poker is supposed to make me a baller. I did the logical thing. What most people do at this stage. I joined a video poker training site. I started to review my sessions. I slept with my FTP robe and my FTP teddy every single night. Most importantly, I hired a coach.

Jamie "Xaston" Kaplan has been there since the beginning of my poker career. I remember begging for coaching before he even offered it. He could do some sick, terrible things, instead of pushing buttons like every other monkey. I remember him flashing his 4.5ptbb/100 over 200k hands 7-8 tabling at stars screen shot and drooling. I liked this. I decided it would be worth it to pay for this. Now I usually only pay 200$/hr for fine Filipino hookers, with an eight ball of Columbian, but a time comes in a man's life, an unfortunate but promising time, when he has to admit, I need a poker coach.

You're at this stage. I can tell since your reading my testimonial. See it's already quite apparent I'm thinking on levels way above you. No homo, Xaston has done wonders for my game. For my last 40k hands, I've been running at over 6ptbb/100 at ½ and 2/4. At 3/6, for 5k hands, I am running hotter than the sun at 10ptbb/100. My Bank has doubled. I put 2,000$ rims on my 800$ car.

The thing about his coaching, what sets him apart from his competition, which admittedly is bountiful and strong, is that Xast helps bring you into his thought process and builds that rationale, that logic into your mind. You'll find yourself asking, yourself, what's going on here, why are we doing what were doing, and how did we get here. That feeling of, shit I'm so lost at this point I'll just shove, you know that feeling, yeah I know it, well stuff like that just doesn't happen anymore. It's were turning the best hand into a bluff, we're value betting thin, we're inducing a bluff. There is an optimal way to play this game. And Jamie Xaston will get you there

Jaime's understanding of poker on a fundamental level is outstanding. After speaking with him for only a short amount of time it becomes apparent how much he can teach you. I took something away from every lesson we had and he helped take my game to a whole new level. Jaime is excellent at explaining his thought processes in detail and in a way that makes it easy to understand. I highly recommend him.

Twelver

Xaston was a very good influence on helping me beat games higer than 1/2.  He helped me see "outside" of the box and go the extra few levels deeper that seperate the marginal winners from the big winners.  While he was coaching me I was able to discover several new ways to attack in position as well as exploit other players being too aggressive.
